Located in the former Royal Palace of the Counts of Barcelona in the Gothic Quarter. It houses the unique collection donated by the sculptor Frederic Marès, which combines a vast sample of medieval and Renaissance Hispanic sculpture with the "Collector's Cabinet", full of thousands of everyday objects from the 19th century.
